Most Web Sites have a page titled “About Us”. But if you think about it we would much rather talk about how we can serve YOU ! As volunteers in the Lord’s work ourselves we can appreciate the time and talent involved in operating an effective ministry. Our Lord calls us to serve with excellence. I have seen how we invest in pastors, programs and special speakers. Many of us are involved in dynamic outreach as strive to carry out the Great Commision. You have so many tools right at your fingertips, Audio, Video, Music, Interpretive Dance, The Internet; why not harness these things as we build the kingdom.
I am sure we desire our Worship to be genuine and our preaching to be bold, but how can the technical part of ministry operate with excellence and not be a distraction. In John 4:23 Jesus talks about worshiping in Spirit and in Truth. Our goal as technical Ministers is to provide the systems and procedures so that the ministers in front of the congregation can usher us into the presence of the Almighty.
